The partners behind L O C O M O T I V E are deeply grateful to our friends, families, clients, and advocates. With your guidance and support, we can announce today that we’ve turned the key on this firm (and this blog) targeting the pursuit and attainment of effective and sustainable change. We aim for nothing less than adaptive change: change that requires learning and growth in service of our higher ambitions for ourselves and our organizations. Change that requires leadership from within (not just from above) your organization.
Locomotive Partners emerged from a conversation among friends who met in the field of Organizational Development and share a few key beliefs:
- We all participate in the change & growth we experience in the world around us
- To achieve effective and sustainable change & growth in a group, the participation of all parties should (and can) be considered & designed
- Considering & designing change programs should (and can) be enlivening for all
Our relationship to change includes studying it, nurturing it, implementing it, reveling in it, (sometimes watching it decay), and witnessing it emerge again in ways unexpected. Together, we have 40+ years of combined experience designing effective change programs, building high-performance teams capable of adapting to change, & managing the complex systems of change.
